The mysterious 'Zonda F Cinque' - which is actually a Regular Zonda Cinque
But we are still to see the Zonda Cinque (which is essentially a tamed-down Zonda R for the road) in the wild, and probably because of that the car sites around the world were full of a mysterious ‘Zonda F Cinque’ that was going to turn up at the Geneva Motor Show. But we had our doubts. We have pretty good contacts at Pagani, and although we knew that the Pagani coming to Geneva was in fact the Cinque (as well as the Zonda R) we wanted to work out where the rumour came from.
Mercedes has revealed an electric version of the new B-Class – the B-Class Electric Drive Concept – which will debut at Paris 2012. Mercedes has revealed the electric B-Class in the guise of the B-Class Electric Drive Concept – a name Mercedes say will find its way on to the boot of all electric Mercedes, Smart and Tesla cars – which previews a production version by 2014. Powering the B-Class Electric Drive is the Smart electric Drive powerplant, located in the space normally taken up by the ICE, which offers 134bhp and a healthy 228lb/ft of torque with the batteries to power the electric motor housed in what Mercedes are calling the B-Class’s Energy space ahead of the rear axle.
Nissan will premiere a wearable heads-up display (HUD) at next week's Tokyo motor show. The Google Glass-like 3E prototype can connect to the Internet in real-time, allowing users to overlay information onto the lens, record projected images and communicate with others by sending information to their device. This is likely to include vehicle performance analysis and the driver's vital signs as well as social media feeds for increased connectivity if its recently released Nismo smartwatch is anything to go by.
